About The Event
Welcome to the 2024 DMV Fashion Week, operating under the banner of CAPITOL Fashion Week™, themed “The Rebirth of Fashion in the District” in partnership with DowntownDC BID! DowntownDC BID oversees a 140-block area of approximately 528 properties and numerous parks and public space, from Massachusetts Avenue NW on the north, including the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at Mount Vernon Square, to Constitution Avenue NW on the south, and from Louisiana Avenue NW on the east to 16th Street NW on the west. Hence the birth of the new home for Capitol Fashion Week at the renowned and newly renovated Franklin Park, in the heart of DC by 14th and K. Capitol Fashion Week 2024 will start on Friday, August 16th and conclude on Sunday, August 18th, 2024.

- Friday, August 16 – Industry Mix & Mingle (Invitation Only)
- Saturday, August 17 – Junior & Heritage Fashion Runway
- Sunday, August 18 – Atelier Fashion Runway
