About The Event
Celebrate spring and DC’s cherry blossoms with Japanese-inspired creativity at Bloom Break at the National Building Museum on March 29 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The program features hands-on activities in language exploration, paper craft, and illustration, along with a short koto and shamisen performance showcasing traditional Japanese music. Guests are invited to make, learn, and connect through art-driven experiences celebrating curiosity, craftsmanship, and the joy of spring. Seasonal treats and spring-themed offerings will also be available at Konbini by Daikaya, the Museum’s café.
