About The Event

Gear Up for Bike to Work Day at Franklin Park!

Ditch the car, grab your handlebars, and roll into Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 15! The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) is turning Franklin Park into a cyclist’s dream from 7:00 am – 9:00 am, complete with free coffee, tasty treats, and live music to keep your wheels spinning. Plus, hear from District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Director Sharon Kershbaum, our VIP speaker. Register to attend NOW!

But wait—there’s more! Want to put your brand in the spotlight? Become an exhibitor and connect with a high-energy crowd of two-wheeled commuters. Or, if you’d rather be part of the action, volunteer with us to hand out goodies, keep the energy high, and help make this event a wheelie big success!

Thanks to The League of American Bicyclists, Bike to Work Day has been rolling strong since 1956, proving that commuting on two wheels isn’t just good for you—it’s good for the planet! Whether you ride a fixie, a foldie, or an e-bike, all pedal pushers are welcome. So pump up those tires, strap on your helmet, register for BTWD and let’s ride toward a greener, happier city.

Oh, and did we mention the exclusive 2025 Bike to Work Day T-shirt? Snag yours when you register HERE!
