About The Event

For the past 22 years, the SOME Trot for Hunger has been the largest and only Thanksgiving Day race in DC. But hunger isn’t tied to one season, or even one place. This year, join us for America’s Trot for Hunger as we shine a spotlight on this issue nationwide.

Now in its 23rd year, the Trot transforms Freedom Plaza & Pennsylvania Avenue on Thanksgiving into a family-friendly race, finisher festival, celebration, and community day of service. We are excited for our community to join us as we turn Thanksgiving into a day of gratitude AND action.

Stick a fork in hunger by joining us in-person or virtually on Thanksgiving Day, November 28.

Cost: $15-$65
Location: Freedom Plaza.
Nearest Metro Station: Metro Center Station (Red/Blue/Orange/Silver lines) via the 13th and G Street Exit.
