About The Event

Winner of the Sundance U.S. Documentary Prize for Directing, the film tells the story of the culture clash that ensues when a shuttered GM plant in Dayton, Ohio, is taken over by a giant Chinese company.

Directed by Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert; Produced by Steven Bognar, Julia Reichert, Jeff Reichert, and Julie Parker Benello, USA.

Screening will be at the National Archives as part of the AFI Docs Film Festival from June 19 to June 23.
