26th Annual National Cherry Blossom Freedom Walk
About The Event
The National Japanese American Memorial Foundation (NJAMF) invites you to participate in the 26th Annual National Cherry Blossom Freedom Walk. The Freedom Walk will take place Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM (EDT). This annual event continues to be an official event of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
The Walk begins and ends at the National Japanese American Memorial located at the corner of Louisiana & New Jersey Avenues, NW in Washington, D.C. Check-in starts at 9 AM (EDT) and the Nen Daiko Japanese Taiko Drummers will perform at 9:30 AM (EDT). The Freedom Walk is an opportunity to visit the Memorial, take part in an activity that commemorates patriotism, courage, and sacrifice, while also reminding us of our continuing responsibility to fight for and protect our civil rights.
