Experience the sights, sounds, and traditions of Chinese culture at the free, open-air 24th Annual Washington Chinese Cultural Festival on Pennsylvania Avenue.
On August 29, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, enjoy a full day of main-stage entertainment featuring breathtaking acrobatics, martial arts demonstrations, live music, and vibrant dragon and lion dances. Explore hands-on cultural booths showcasing traditional arts such as paper-cutting and sugar painting, take part in an elegant tea ceremony, try on historic Hanfu attire, and even receive a personalized Chinese name from a master calligrapher.
Admission is free, but be sure to bring some spending money to sample authentic cuisine and browse unique gifts and souvenirs from the festival marketplace.
