Herstory 5K is back with its 7th annual Women’s History Month celebration!

Hosted by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation and inspired by Mayor Muriel Bowser and the incredible women who’ve shaped our city and country, the FITDC HerStory 5K, powered by AETNA, is the ultimate free run/walk event.

Every year, thousands of DC locals and visitors come together at Freedom Plaza to honor women’s achievements and yes, it’s totally family, stroller, and dog friendly as long as our fur friends are on a leash, so feel free to bring the whole squad!

Cost: FREE with registration
Location: Freedom Plaza
Nearest Metro Station: Metro Center Station (Red/Blue/Orange/Silver lines) via the 13th and G Street Exit.
