About The Event
Now in its 21st season, the DowntownDC Holiday Market brings festive cheer back to F Street NW (between 7th and 9th Streets NW, right outside the National Portrait Gallery) from November 21 through December 23, 2025. Discover more than 115 local and regional vendors offering art, crafts, jewelry, decor, treats, and gifts galore—plus the DC Dream Wall, an interactive chalkboard where visitors can share their dreams and holiday wishes with the community. Warm up with a seasonal sip at the Winter Chalet bar by Dirty Habit, and soak in the sights, sounds, and sparkle of one of DC’s most beloved holiday traditions.
Holiday Market Hours
- Monday–Thursday | 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Friday–Saturday | 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday | 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Closed Thanksgiving Day
Main Stage Performances
Enjoy live music and entertainment on the main stage Thursdays through Sundays, with three daily sets:
- 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Holiday Character Sightings
Santa & Mrs. Claus and your favorite holiday characters—The Grinch, Gingerbread Lady, Christmas Tree, and more—will be roaming the market on select days and times. Snap a photo with them if you can:
- November 21 | 10:00–11:00 a.m.
- November 23 | 2:00–3:00 p.m.
- November 29 | 2:00–3:00 p.m.
- November 30 | 2:00–3:00 p.m.
- December 12 | 3:30–4:00 p.m.
- December 20 | 2:00–4:00 p.m.
