2024 Holiday Windows Unveiling at Macy’s Metro Center

On Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., all are invited to Macy’s Metro Center in Downtown D.C. to set the holiday season in motion with the annual unveiling of Macy’s iconic Holiday Windows. What began in 1889 as an animated holiday window reveal at Macy’s original location on 14th Street in New York, has transformed and carried over to annual holiday window reveal across many Macy’s departments across the U.S.
Attendees will experience an evening of merriment featuring live entertainment from WHUR DJ, a performance from a local dance team, holiday cookie giveaways, glitter tattoos and balloon artist activations, and special photo opportunities with holiday characters. The display windows will be revealed along the G Street side of the building. This year’s theme is sure to delight and thrill all attendees, both young and old!
