About The Event

The DowntownDC BID presents Cherry Blossom Yoga and Sunset Celebration– a free yoga and dance party experience!

All fitness levels are welcome as we celebrate spring at Freedom Plaza starting with a one-hour community yoga practice with resident Daybreaker DC yoga teacher, Nicky Pham, from 5:30pm – 6:30pm, followed by a one-hour outdoor sunset dance party from 6:30pm – 7:30pm featuring DJ Alex Os and James Dank ft. Torrey Beek, Flow + Acro performances by Tanory & crew, and a bubble performance by Jennifer Shannon aka “Ellipsura”. All attendees should bring their own mat and a bottle of water. Rock your brightest pink and purple yoga digs and come dressed for the weather!

Registered attendees will be notified via email if the event is rescheduled due to weather. The rain date for this event is April 9. Follow @DowntownDCBID for scheduling updates.
