Mark your calendar. The DowntownDC BID is producing a free, all-night cultural experience in the heart of Downtown DC, A Taste of Art All Night, on Saturday, October 20th. Rest up because the all-night arts fest will dazzle from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am in select Downtown-curated venues! It’s all part of the celebratory close to Art4All DC, a new citywide collaboration to bring local arts organizations and artists together to present and initiate participation in the arts from Thursday, September 6th through Sunday, October 21st. During the closing party, all residents and visitors are welcome to explore and engage at 915 F Street, Caos on F (923 F Street), Techworld Plaza (800 Eye Street), and 401 9th Street. The events at these locations will be curated by No Kings Collective, Jessica Bell, Deidre Ehlen, and Metasebia Yoseph, respectively. What to expect: vibrant visual arts and performance art, including projections, live musicians, and DJs, who will add to the festive occasion.
In addition, a few partner venues have agreed to stay open during A Taste of Art All Night to add to the cultural exchange. They are: the Pepco Edison Place Art Gallery (702 8th Street), the Goethe Institut (812 7th Street), and Touchstone Gallery (901 New York Avenue).
