For over thirty years, this prominent artist-owned gallery has been serving the Washington community.

On September 10th, Touchstone re-opened its gallery from its previous location at 7th and D Street, NW. to the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Washington Convention Center, the new Touchstone is handy to metro stations, parking facilities and three other art galleries.

Touchstone Gallery's director says, "We encourage artistic and career growth in our members and have a reputation for exhibiting contemporary work of high quality, vision and innovation. As member/owners of a co-op, Touchstone artists enjoy the right to guide gallery policies and control their exhibitions. The support and camaraderie of the membership is an additional benefit".

Touchstone presents new work by rising and established artists. From representational to abstract, hard edge to impressionistic; sculpture, painting, photography and many other art forms the gallery offers a large array of visual voices.
