Taste of DC Returns

Get ready to savor the Taste of DC, returning to Downtown on Saturday, October 6th, for the second consecutive year following a seven-year hiatus. The food, wine, beer, and cultural festival will take place over three days on Pennsylvania Avenue between 9th and 14th streets from noon to 7:00 pm during the Columbus Day holiday weekend.

This event will feature 50 DC area restaurants, 30 craft breweries, and a variety of wineries and food trucks. Besides Restaurant Row, a Beer Garden, concert area, family-friendly zone, and a competitive eating event—Ben’s Chili Bowl’s 2nd Annual World Chili Eating Championship—will add to the merriment.

Several Downtown restaurants will represent. They include Cedar (822 E Street), La Tasca (722 7th Street), Rosa Mexicano (575 7th Street), Nando’s Peri-Peri (819 7th Street) and McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant (901 F Street). All participating restaurants will have up to four menu items and at least one tasting item priced at $3 or less. Caution: bring cash; not every restaurant will be accepting credit cards.
