Wine connoisseurs, discriminating foodies and culinary neophytes, get your taste buds set for the ultimate wine and cuisine celebration. The Washington DC International Wine & Food Festival comes to the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue) on Thursday, February 9, and runs through Sunday, February 12. There’s a smorgasbord of treats, so bring your appetite!

The two-day Grand Tasting is sure to please the palate. Savor more than 500 different wines from 100 international wineries. Enjoy a chef demonstration stage where premier chefs will demonstrate their expertise by pairing wine with delectable cuisine. Mix and mingle with top winemakers and get the lowdown on regional cuisines from local chefs.

Participants can see top DC sommeliers compete in a race of the taste (Sommelier Showdown), using deductive tasting to identify wines with hidden labels at the inaugural Sommelier Showdown. In addition, you can indulge in a Valentine’s Day themed cocktail reception with DC’s best mixologists, including those from Downtown’s PS 7s’ (777 Eye Street) and Aria Pizzeria & Bar at the Ronald Reagan Building, on Friday, February 10.
