Congrats to David M. Bradt Jr., office managing director at WTAS; Joseph M. Rigby, president and chief executive officer at Pepco Holdings, Inc. (701 9th Street); and George “Pat” Clancy Jr., retired executive vice president and Mid-Atlantic region market president of Chevy Chase Bank. All were recently named recipients of the Washington Business Journal’s 2013 Outstanding Directors Awards for their work at three DowntownDC BID area organizations.
Bradt was recognized for his service on the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region and Venture Philanthropy Partners (1201 15th Street) board of trustees; Rigby for work with the United Way of the National Capital Area (1101 15th Street); and Clancy for service with WGL Holdings Inc. and Washington Gas (101 Constitution Avenue). The awards honor directors who have demonstrated the vital leadership and business savvy needed to help guide their businesses’ success. A total of 11 honorees will be saluted at a black-tie gala at the Four Seasons Hotel on February 28.
