We The Woolly: Remixing 250 | American Spitstory
About The Event
Part of the We The Woolly: Remixing 250 series.
DC’s beloved open mic Spit Dat steps into Remixing 250 with American Spitstory for an evening of poetry, storytelling, and truth-telling. Join spoken word artists Drew Anderson, Dwayne Lawson-Brown, and Miko Reed on Sunday, July 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. as they bring powerful voices into Woolly’s lobby for a night that reminds us America’s story is still being written, challenged, and reimagined in real time.
DC Public Library’s Mobile Bike will also be on-site, showcasing the city’s vibrant literary offerings.
