Step into The Hip Hop Nutcracker, where a beloved holiday tale gets a fresh beat with dynamic dance, Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, and a New York City twist. Returning to The National Theatre from November 17–22, this holiday mash-up is directed and choreographed by award-winning Jennifer Weber.
Follow Maria-Clara and the Nutcracker Prince on a dreamlike adventure as they battle a gang of mice, visit the Land of Sweets, and discover the lessons of the holiday season. A powerhouse cast of 12 all-star dancers brings the story to life through high-energy hip-hop and contemporary dance.
