Planet Word’s 6th Anniversary Community Day
About The Event
You’re invited to celebrate six years of Planet Word with Community Day on Sunday, October 18 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. In addition to our signature exhibit experiences, enjoy exclusive pop-up talks and demonstrations from our curatorial and tech teams as well as special museum-wide activities. Don’t forget to stop by the Planet Word swag table for a tasty treat and fun keepsakes as you wrap up your visit.

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Museum-wide Activities (Whole Building)
- Self-guided Building History & Architecture audio tour (Bloomberg Connects)
- Museum-wide scavenger hunt
- Wordplay table games (Classroom A, 2nd Floor)
12:30 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. | What’s New in the Library Curator Pop-up Talk (Library, 2nd Floor)
- Learn about our latest book additions to Planet Word’s Library collection!
3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. | Tech Talk (The Spoken World, 3rd Floor)
- Globe Raising experience
- Learn behind-the-scenes museum fun facts from a member of the tech team!
