Traditional Japanese folk music gets a bold new sound when Minyo Crusaders take the stage at The Hamilton Live! on September 24. Reimagining min’yō, Japan’s centuries-old folk music tradition, the internationally acclaimed band blends traditional melodies with cumbia, reggae, afrobeat, and other global rhythms.

Known for their energetic live shows, the Tokyo’s 12-piece celebrates Japan’s musical roots while creating a vibrant, genre-defying sound that brings cultures together on the dance floor.
