About The Event
INHERITANCE is a Juneteenth exhibition presented by Nommo House, bringing together more than thirty artists from across the DMV to explore what is carried forward across generations.
Through photography, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, the exhibition examines memory, lineage, place, identity, and cultural transmission—reflecting on both the gifts and burdens we inherit, and the futures we create from them. At a moment when histories are contested and communities continue to envision new possibilities, INHERITANCE invites audiences to consider the people, stories, and traditions that continue to shape us.
Join us at the 11:Eleven Gallery for INHERITANCE – Nommo House’s largest exhibition to date for an evening of art, community, reflection, and collective remembrance.
