About The Event
Join the Theatre Lab for Dramathon 2026, DC’s one-of-a-kind theatrical extravaganza! One of our most exhilarating performances of the year, the Dramathon brings together some of Washington DC’s best-known actors, directors, playwrights, and theatre enthusiasts for a one-night-only live show of short plays written for this event.
Dramathon participants work with and perform alongside DC area directors, actors, and playwrights in a one-of-a-kind theatre experience—with no previous acting experience and no memorization required! Whether you’re a Theatre Lab student or alumni, a fan of local DC theatre, or just want to support the arts, we welcome everyone to the stage!
When you participate in the Dramathon, you help raise money for a great cause. All funds from the event benefit the theatre’s Send a Kid to Theatre Camp campaign, which provides scholarships to children and teens for the renowned summer camps and institutes.
