About The Event
Cruise at your own pace past our city’s most iconic sights with DC Bike Ride—the city’s only car-free social ride, perfect for first-timers and avid cyclists alike.
On Saturday, September 12, join thousands of riders for a 20-mile ride through the heart of DC. With a family-friendly course, DC Bike Ride is one of the city’s biggest celebrations of cycling, winding through car-free streets and past iconic monuments and memorials. The 20-mile excursion welcomes riders ages three and up and wraps up with a Finish Festival featuring food, music, and fun activities.
Ride Day Schedule
- 6:00 a.m. | Corrals Open
- 7:45 a.m. | Corrals Close
- 8:00 a.m. | Ride Begins
- 8:30 a.m. | Finish Festival Begins

- Start Line: At the intersection of 12th St. NW and Constitution Ave. NW
- Finish Line: 300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20565

Details
- Cost: Standard Ride Pass | $120. Kids ages 3-7 ride FREE with a paying adult.
- Location: Starts at the intersection of 12th Street NW and Constitution Avenue NW
- Metro: Federal Triangle Station (Blue/Orange/Silver lines) via the 12th Street and Constitution Avenue NW Exit
