Chinatown Funk Express returns to Lucky Danger for a Halloween edition on Friday, October 30.
Come dressed as your favorite City Pop record cover, ’80s pop idol, disco superstar, or New Wave icon. Costumes are highly encouraged, with a costume contest hosted by Carolyn / Petite Punk!
Les The DJ plays an all-night set on wax spanning City Pop, Japanese funk, Cantonese Hi-NRG, OPM (Original Pilipino Music), Korean funk-pop, disco, New Wave, and dancefloor sounds from across Asia and the Asian diaspora, from the ’70s to today.
SAMASAMA Market returns with local artists and makers, a pop-up record shop, tarot and oracle readings by yoojiflows, and ’80s and vintage vendors curated by Finding Your Good. Powered by Extended Play DC’s sound system.
