About The Event
Open Wednesdays, spring through fall, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Woodrow Wilson Plaza, Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) 2026 features plenty of fresh foods and artisanal goods. The market’s mission is to foster a sense of community, stimulate economic development and improve quality of life by providing local and sustainably sourced foods and products.
Marketgoers can shop seasonal offerings from local purveyors and food producers, dine al fresco on the plaza, enjoy chef demos and samplings and stock up on recipes and tips for maintaining a healthy and socially responsible lifestyle.
On the first and third Wednesdays of each month, CHoP is collaborating with Capital Arts Collective for a curated selection of items by the area’s most talented creatives, including everything from jewelry, paintings, candles, custom-designed items, home goods, and more.
