Bike To Work Day 2026
About The Event
Traffic, long lines, and congestion—trade them all for fresh air and good vibes at Bike To Work Day 2026. Set your alarm and roll into Franklin Park on Thursday, May 15, from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., where your ordinary commute transforms into a morning celebration. Sip free coffee, grab tasty treats, enjoy live music, connect with our community and snag a FREE T-shirt when signing up HERE.

The morning kicks off with special remarks from DDOT Director Sharon Kershbaum, followed by music, positive energy, and community connections. And that’s not all—we’re taking Bike to Work Day up a gear this year with an e-bike giveaway. Attendees who make an on-site, tax-deductible donation of $5 or more to the DowntownDC Foundation will receive a ticket and be entered for a chance to win one (1) Fuji Boulevard EVO, an everyday e-bike designed for comfort, versatility, and confident cruising. BUT WAIT—there’s more! Be one of 30 lucky attendees to receive prize giveaways. This fun, free morning on two or more wheels is an event you won’t want to miss!
Want to be even more involved? Volunteer with us and help keep the energy rolling while meeting fellow riders, or host a table to showcase your brand at one of DC’s largest pit stops.
Rolling strong since 1956 with the support of The League of American Bicyclists, Bike to Work Day welcomes everyone. Whether you’re hopping on a bike, cruising on an e-bike, or trying any two-wheeled ride, your ride helps make the city a little greener, a little brighter, and a lot more fun. Pump up your tires, strap on your helmet, REGISTER TODAY, and let’s make this morning one to remember.
