Embrace the flavors of fall with an Autumn Affair Afternoon Tea, beneath the soaring Clocktower Atrium at Waldorf Astoria DC. This elegant 90-minute tea experience features seasonal savory bites, whimsical pastries, and curated teas, and a complimentary free-flowing Whispering Angel Rosé.
Savory highlights include Smoked Salmon Mousse on a Sweet Potato Biscuit, Grilled Peach & Brie Tart with Maple Sugar, Roasted Turkey with Caramelized Pecans and Green Apple, and Thyme Cornbread with Corn and Cranberry Gelée. A thoughtfully curated vegetarian menu is also available.
The experience continues with Chocolate Cardamom Orange & Fennel Parmesan Scones, served with Devonshire Cream, Chocolate Sunflower Spread, and Cinnamon Peach Basil Jam, followed by seasonal sweets including Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Mocha, Spiced Fig Olive Oil Cake, Persimmon Panna Cotta Cake, and Cinnamon Peach Ruby Tart.
A curated tea selection features autumn-inspired blends such as Apple Pie, Pear Tree, Lavender Earl Grey, and Herbal Spiced Chai, alongside classic favorites.
