Get ready to snap your fingers, clap your hands and move to the grooves at Live! On Woodrow Wilson Plaza, the free lunchtime concert series beginning June 9 and running through September 24 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue).
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the popular GSA-sponsored outdoor performance series. As always, the lineup won’t disappoint. The fabulous O’Jays will kick off the summer music festival, and the Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown—a long-time Live! favorite—will conclude the 78-day extravaganza. Other world-renowned entertainers in African dance, Celtic folk songs, jazz violin, hip hop, Latin swing and pop rock also will be featured.
The concerts run Monday through Friday, from noon to 1:30 pm— except the last performance, which will begin at 5:00 pm. For more information, click here.
