Le Pain Quotidien, the Belgian bakery with the French name, is coming to Downtown in October. Known for its eco-friendly ways and natural ingredients, the bakeshop will open at 975 F Street, its sixth DC location. Le Pain offers artisan breads and pastries. Other features include a signature communal table, as well as other seating arrangements, and a pantry which sells its products—everything from jams and chocolate spreads to granola and coffee.  The DowntownDC BID location will seat 75 and occupy 2,800 SF, including the kitchen. Baking aficionados take note: Le Pain also offers bakery classes in New York, the home of its US headquarters.
