Fall Styles Hit the Catwalk at the District of Fashion Runway Show, Feb. 7

Get ready for a night of glitz and glam on Feb. 7, when local and international designers rip the runway at the District of Fashion Runway Show.

The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) will present a DC kickoff to New York Fashion Week, bridging the gap between the two cities and elevating DC’s position in the fashion industry. Hosted by celebrity and television personality Paul Wharton, this invite-only runway show will feature Fall/Winter 2019 collections from local, national and international designers and models. Guests can view fashion from Amanda Casarez, Andrew Nowell Menswear Brittany Christina Collection, Dara Oji Collections with 2Heads by Atsu, Lorra Rivers, Love Soul Style, Peruvian Connection, Planettogs, Shafei Han, Tout Sur LeCuir, Tori Soudan and Victim 15.

Guests will enjoy unique signature cocktails, food from the hottest new Indian concept RASA, music curated by Vette Bailache spun by DC’s own DJ Dirty Hands. Guests can also see fashion forward looks from local stylists and artists from Aveda and PR at Partners Salon with Jacqui Davis, lead by celebrity stylist Eva Styles.

This season the BID expands its reach in the fashion industry and is proud to partner with Mayor Bowsers Commission of Fashion Arts and Entertainment (CFAE) and 202Creates.

The BID hosted its inaugural District of Fashion Runway Show on Sept. 4, 2018 at The Showroom (1099 14th Street) featuring Spring/Summer 2019 fashion.
