Downtown DC BID Launches Enhanced Website

Welcome to the Downtown DC BID’s newly enhanced website. We’ve updated our look for a fresher, more contemporary appearance. Also, we’ve reorganized the sections to distinguish more clearly general consumer information from the substantive statistical data, reports and presentations that our members may find useful. We anticipate that the end result of our efforts will be a more user friendly, aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate website.

A major highlight of the re-launched site includes a “Submit An Event” feature to allow Downtown venues and organizations to post their own activities as they develop their calendars for the year. The feature provides an added benefit to groups wanting to publicize fundraisers, galas and the like well in advance of the event date.

“Along with the Downtown SAMs, our website becomes an immediate and visible tool for communicating with BID members and the general public,” said Rich Bradley, executive director of the BID.  “Delivering information that is accurate, relevant, timely and easy to find and use is critical to telling the story of a vibrant, inviting and beautiful new Downtown.”

The BID’s partners in developing and hosting the site, Cohn Marketing Group and Infront Webworks were responsible for redesigning the site and implementing the technical requirements for the enhancements. They clearly understand our mission and our message and that comes through in the work they have produced.
