Get ready to chow down. Casa Luca (1099 New York Avenue), a chef Fabio Trabocchi creation, opens this Friday, July 5, a day after the fireworks. To celebrate, ALL food will be discounted 10 percent. What to expect: simple pastas, vegetables galore, grilled fish and meat and a casual, family-friendly ambience. Trabocchi also owns the high-end Fiola (678 Indiana Avenue) Italian restaurant. Sorry, no reduced fare at that location.
