Get ready to spice up your summer because the BID is bringing back your favorite outdoor summer series. Watch a Marvel classic this summer as Freedom Plaza transforms into a sunset movie theatre every Tuesday from June 4 to July 9 at Can I Kick It? DowntownDC Summer Flicks. Or grab lunch and enjoy live entertainment in Franklin Park every Thursday in June and July for DowntownDC Live.  

Jazz at McPherson Square

Wolf Trap returns this summer to offer live, outdoor jazz on Thursday, May 9 from 11:30am to 1:30pm in McPherson Square (15th and I streets).  Grab lunch at theFRESHFARM by the White House Market and get comfortable with complimentary picnic blankets, play lawn games and get DowntownDC swag while supplies last. Follow @DowntownDC  on Twitter and Facebook for inclement weather updates. 

DowntownDC Summer Flicks Presents: Can I Kick It? 
Tuesdays, Sunset, June 4-July 9    

Summer Flicks returns for season three! For six Tuesday nights in June and July, Freedom Plaza (13th Street & Pennsylvania Avenue NW) will be transformed into an outdoor movie theater featuring classic Marvel movies mixed live to an original music soundtrack of hip-hop and soul. Come early to snag a seat, listen to a live DJ set, play outdoor games and win DowntownDC swag. On select nights enjoy complimentary popcorn provided by Pret A Manger or cold treats, while supplies last.  DowntownDC Summer Flicks is sponsored by Potbelly, Sandy Spring Bank, District Taco and the National Theatre.

Make the most of your lunch break and head to Franklin Park (13th & K streets NW) for DowntownDC Live every Thursday from 12:30-1:30pm. Enjoy free, live performances by local and international pop, soul and jazz artists.
