After six years at 777 Eye Street, PS7’s has closed its doors. Known for its upscale, modern American cuisine and cocktail program—the restaurant was a finalist in the RAMMY Award’s Beverage/Mixology Program of the Year category in 2010—PS7’s reportedly closed in November. A replacement is already lined up to transform the space. Del Campo, a South American BBQ concept by Victor Albisu, is expected to open this spring. Expect a changing menu of grilled meats ranging from short ribs to blood sausage, Peruvian-style crudos and ceviches and drinks such as pisco sours and mate tea. Albisu, raised in Virginia and trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, was formerly the chef at BLT Steak.
