Get ready to see more stars on DC streets, particularly near the National Museum of Crime & Punishment (575 7th Street). Last month, the Museum teamed up with a local production company to have Badlands, a new TV series, filmed at the Museum studio once used by America’s Most Wanted. Filming, including of a few DC street scenes, begins this spring, with the crime show set to air on a yet undisclosed network. Native Washingtonian Charles Long of Metropolis Studio & Movies, which provided fundraising support to Dancing with Wolves, is the show’s executive producer and says he looks “forward to bringing more television and movie production to the nation’s capital.” Time to dust off those resumes?
