D.C. is known for its monuments, memorials and museums, but now it’s time to be known as the District of Fashion.

The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) on Sept. 5 presents the inaugural District of Fashion Runway Show at The Showroom (1099 14th St NW), hosted by celebrity and television personality Paul Wharton

Serving as a D.C. kickoff to New York Fashion Week, the event will align top fashion industry practices between these two global cities by showcasing Spring/Summer 2019 ladies and menswear collections, all made possible by local, national and international designers, models and talent that have already made names for themselves worldwide.

An on-site fashion video booth, sponsored by OM Digital, will offer guests a unique way to document the night with their own personal, shareable runway video shoot.

Thanks to other partners like Upstairs on 7th and Caudalie, guests can witness a special fashion presentation while VIP guests will receive complimentary Beauty Elixir courtesy of Caudalie.

The BID will also be hosting a February runway show to showcase fall/winter collections.

Both events are invitation-only. Secure your spot today, it’s a show you don’t want to miss!
