Pull out your most fabulous, artful accessories and mark your calendar for the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s (SAAM) 5th Annual ARTrageous Gala on Saturday, February 27, at 8th and F Streets.
The benefit, from 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm in the museum’s lovely Kogod Courtyard, supports the Museum’s many free, public and educational programs—including the monthly jazz concerts and Family Day. Arts lovers, contributors and benefactors will delight in the dinner buffet, hors d’oeuvres, full bar, live jazz, late night dancing and mingling in the elegant galleries.
This year’s event will feature appearances by Project Runway contestant Nick Verreos and artist Karen LaMonte, whose cast glass, couture-based work, Reclining Dress Impression with Drapery, will be displayed in the courtyard during the gala.
