SUNdeVICH is an independent sandwich shop, operating in various neighborhoods throughout D.C. The original location is in a converted garage, in historic Naylor Court, in the Shaw neighborhood, steps away from the convention center.
Sandwiches are prepared on French-style, demi baguettes, baked daily by a local bakery. The crusty-yet-chewy bread is a nicely suitable vehicle for a great sandwich. It is the perfect foundation to carry and complement the wide range of flavors and textures that comprise each of the carefully crafted creations.
The small nature of the operation allows for fresh products. There are no walk-in coolers, so space is limited. Menu items are delivered, and prepped daily, in small batches. Once they run out, they close, and do it all over again the next day.
