About The Event
Itâs time to celebrate! Raise your glass and toast the visionaries who made DowntownDC an amazing place to live, work and play this year.
Join us for the 2016 Momentum Party (#partydowntowndc) on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Library (801 K Street NW). Mix and mingle over drinks, food and music featuring Chelsey Green and The Green Project.
Momentum Party guests will have the chance to experience a mini shopping village. Come preview unique gift items from a few of the many exhibitors featured at the Downtown Holiday Market who will have their items on display and available for purchase. The 12th Annual Downtown Holiday Market features regional artisans, crafters and boutique businesses.
At the Dec. 8 Momentum Party, we will unveil the 2016 Momentum Award winners: Downtown Person-of-the-Year; Downtown Public and Private Sector Person, Project or Program; Downtown Partnership or Program; Downtown Detail; Downtown Experience and this year, a Downtown Visionary.
New this year, we are opening up two categories for a public vote!

This free event runs from 5:30 pm-8 pm, with the awards program beginning at 6:15pm.
