Young Learners Tours, exclusively for children ages 3 to 6 and their adults, are designed to get little bodies moving, minds thinking, hands making, and mouths talking about works of art. Join us for the newest program in this series: Animal Adventure!

Participants will go on an adventure through the galleries and look closely at works in the collection. They learn about the museum, practice museum manners, and discover art concepts through developmentally appropriate discussions, a themed story, and hands-on activities.

During this animal-themed tour, participants will:

  • Learn about awesome animals during story time
  • See a variety of animals in art as they explore the collection galleries
  • Imagine themselves as animals through sounds and movements
  • Discover how and why artists depict animals in art
  • Create an artwork about a favorite animal

Note: One adult per three young learners is required.
