Learn MoreOpen Streets is returning to 7th Street NW in the fall of 2024! One mile of 7th Street NW will be closed to vehicles to allow people to safely walk, run, bike, and play.
Open Streets will include hourly programmed classes and demonstrations, including yoga, dancing, and more! The event is free and suitable for all ages and abilities. No cars, just people!
In Downtown D.C. from E Street NW to K Street NW, expect to see
- Live bands
- Dragon dance
- A sports virtual lounge featuring a Nintendo Switch station, presented by ESPN 630 The Sports Capitol
- Chinese 9-Man volleyball
- Fitness workouts
- Wrestling lessons
