AUSG Women’s Initiative is excited to announce our Women’s History Month Guest Speaker: Lindsay Peoples Wagner, Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue Magazine. On Wednesday March 25th at 7pm, AUSG WI will welcome Lindsay Peoples Wagner to speak at the Washington College of Law. Lindsay is a well accomplished fashion journalist and is currently the only black Editor-in-Chief at a major publication in the United States.

Women’s Initiative will present Ms. Peoples Wagner with the AUSG Women’s Initiative Award for Excellence in Activism. This award honors an individual who demonstrates commitment to transforming feminist practice into action.

Ms. Peoples Wagner will engage in a moderated Q&A session with SOC Professor Jane Hall and will receive questions from audience members as well.

This event is open to AU students, staff, and alumni. An eventbrite ticket and AU ID are required for entry.

This event is in partnership with the American University School of Communication, the Kennedy Political Union, Public Relations Student Association of America, National Association of Hispanic Journalists, National Association of Black Journalist, BlackPrint, HerCampus, Revolution/AU Fashion Society, VISIBLE.
