Dear DowntownDC Stakeholder,

Whether you’re going strong (so far) on your new year’s resolutions, or you’ve decided it’s a lost cause and moved on, we’re still at the top of 2023 and looking forward to a lot in DowntownDC. Find out what people around the neighborhood have to say as they think about to the year to come.

A worthy resolution might be discovering the restaurants throughout the District that make our city a must-visit for its variety of culinary talent. An easy way to jump on that one is participating in Winter Restaurant Week, where more than 20 spots are in DowntownDC.

The start of a new year isn’t necessarily January 1 for everyone, and a perfect way to recognize this, take in some culture, and honor the Year of the Rabbit is to experience the Lunar New Year parade and celebration in Chinatown.

If learning something new is on your agenda, don’t miss the Architecture and Design Film Festival this month at the National Building Museum. Even if you’re not a design nerd, these events and screenings will reveal its impacts throughout our world.

And finally, we have good news to report thanks to your support of the DowntownDC Foundation.

Catch up on the latest news and discover more in this DowntownDC Digest below.
