Journey to DowntownDC for the ultimate holiday shopping experience at this year’s DowntownDC Holiday Market, which opens on Black Friday (Nov. 23) and runs through Sunday, Dec. 23. Featuring over 150 vendors with unique, handmade items perfect for gifting, it’s the best way to celebrate the season for locals and visitors alike.
Shop for collectibles at Icons DC, jewelry at Be You Fashion and ceramics from Kuzeh Pottery. Black Bear Leather, Mirasa Design and Aria Handmade are go-to’s for apparel. Enjoy Mundo Handmade, Tunisian Touch and Waters Woods for imported crafts and many more.
The lineup of vendors rotates each day, making every visit unique. New this year, support District creatives with locally-made products at the new Made in DC booth or learn more about your favorite DowntownDC museums in the BID info area throughout the duration of the market.
Not shopping? No problem. Stop by to enjoy free, live music performances daily. Howard University’s Afro Blue, Roquois, Carla Harvey and Dave Gorozdos are just some of the acts performing this season. Check out the complete performance schedule here.
Satisfy your taste buds at Alexa’s Empanadas, Migue’s Magnificent Mini Donuts, Vigilante Coffee Co and The Taste of Germany.
Located on F Street between 7th and 9th streets NW (in front of the Smithsonian American Art Museum), the market will operate daily from 12-8pm rain, snow or shine.
Beginning Nov. 22, look for printed copies of the full market schedule in the Washington City Paper or online at washingtoncitypaper.com.
