Dedicated to exhibiting the work of artists who live and work in the Washington, DC, region, The Heurich Gallery, is named in honor of the Heurich family, who has played a leading role in the development of Washington, DC for over 100 years. The land under the Kennedy Center and Watergate was once the location of the Heurich Brewing facilities.  The family still owns the land under 505 Ninth Street, the current location of the Gallery.

Conveniently located near the Gallery Place Metro, the Verizon Center and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Heurich Gallery’s beautiful exhibition space was designed by one of Washington’s leading architectural firms, Hartman-Cox Architects.  Works in diverse media such as painting, sculpture and photography are shown and, in the spirit of its founding, the Washington area community of artists is featured.

Exhibitions open quarterly with a lively discussion led by the artist of his/her work. The talk is accompanied by light refreshments, and is open, free of charge to the entire Washington community.
