Celebrate the end of the work week and jump start the weekend with fun and free activities in Chinatown Park (5th and Mass) this summer.
The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) presents the Chinatown Block Party with Words Beats & Life every Friday through August 3, from 5pm to 8pm in Chinatown Park.
Block party attendees can explore their creative side with a host of free activities including DJing, graffiti art, double dutch, mega chess and enjoy live performances, meet the DC Lottery team at the Lucky Lottery Mobile and more. For more information and to RSVP click here.

The Chinatown Block Party is part of the Discover Chinatown Parks programming series supported jointly by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID), the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) and the Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA).
Program partners include FRESHFARM Markets, Words Beats & Life, Inc., the National Park Service, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, 450 K and the DC Public Library.
This unique programming series offers regular, rotating schedule in Chinatown and Milian Parks throughout the summer and includes free movie nights, concerts, farmers markets and more. All activities are free and open to the public. For more information and the complete schedule click here.
