Circulator
The Downtown BID was a leader in organizing the partnership that developed and manages the Circulator and continues to provide ongoing leadership, technical and financial support to the service. Phase I of the Circulator launched in July 2005 with routes connecting Georgetown to Union Station and the Convention Center to the Southwest Waterfront.
The DC Circulator is a key component to the BID's efforts to make Downtown and its amenities more easily accessible to workers, residents and visitors. For more information on the Circulator, visit www.dccirculator.com.
Rail

MARC > The Maryland Transit Administration operates the MARC commuter train. The service connects Washington D.C. to BWI and other parts of Maryland. Tour Bus
Tourmobile > The Tourmobile, started in 1969, offers tourists and residents an affordable, interesting opportunity to see the local attractions that DC has to offer. The service circulates the National Mall, providing tourists easy access to the area's attractions, including the Smithsonian and the Washington Monument. The service also extends to the residence of George Washington, Mount Vernon, as well as other historical sites outside of the downtown area. Old Town Trolley > The Old Town Trolley offers tours around the DC area, while stopping at various historical sites. DC Ducks > The DC Ducks tour service offers tourists the opportunity to see Washington DC by land and by water.
