National Police Week honors the contributions and sacrificesof America's law enforcement officers. A number of events are held in and around the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Judiciary Square.

More than 1,000 bicycle-riding law enforcement officers and supporters complete their 300+ mile bike ride from Liberty State Park in New Jersey and Virginia Beach, Virginia, to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
