National Police Week, May 11 - 17
National Police Week honors the contributions and sacrificesof America's law enforcement officers. A number of events are held in and around the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Judiciary Square.

Peace Officers Memorial Day
U.S. flags will be flown at half-staff in honor of officers who have died in the line of duty.
