The PBS documentary film, Ansel Adams, is a look into the life, times, and artwork of one of the foremost pioneers of American photography and an ardent environmentalist. Adams was a champion for the preservation and appreciation of the American landscape. This film, written and directed by Ric Burns and broadcast on National Public Television in April 2002 as part of the American Experience series, captures Adamss profound impact on the way Americans saw their country.
